Last spring I joined the #crochetforpeacecal. I had the opportunity to crochet 10 beautiful grannies, to read a lot about war(s), to think about how strongly peace is needed to make our life, our world, our future better. The inspiration for my #Irenegranny22 came from there. Irene means peace. It is quite a retro look, a bit of “seventies” mood in it. It combines tapestry crochet, surface crochet and standard crochet. I like to share it as a #freepattern and to dedicate it to the memory of Gino Strada. Hope you enjoy it.
